A Lite RAZR & More Zune Phone Rumors

motorolaw370b.gif

Motorola's W370 is like a poor man's RAZR, but don't let that description turn you off. It has MMS, SMS, WAP, GPRS, MP3 and a built-in mini-USB port that supports mass storage mode. Those looking for a lightweight cellphone without a camera and all that Bluetooth nonsense don't have to look too far anymore.

Here's one for the rumor mill: are Microsoft and Samsung collaborating on a Zune phone?

According to Akihabara News, Samsung and Microsoft "have exchanged patents for current and future product releases." These patents include items like televisions and computers, but there is also mention of smaller devices like digital music players. Given the lines are really starting to blur between MP3 players and cell phones, it wouldn't take much for Microsoft to co-develop a music-playing mobile phone with Samsung.

Interesting. We'll watch this one and see what comes up.
