Adobe On Flash For The iPhone: Apple Still Has Final Word

adobe.jpg

Flash and the iPhone. We've seen it before. Somehow, the two just won't mix. Even after more than a couple of months since I last wrote about it, they still won't play nice with each other. Adobe is being true to its word that it's developing Flash for the iPhone, but it's also saying that it can only go so far.

"We are working on Flash on the iPhone, but it is really up to Apple," Adobe product manager Michele Turner told TechCrunch.

The bigger challenge: For Flash to work on the iPhone, Adobe needs diplomatic help from Apple. Especially if Adobe plans to make Flash work the same way it does on a computer -- as a plugin for Apple's Safari browser.

Hit the source for more information. Aside from the hurdle that is Apple support, there's also the development process that Adobe needs to overcome. Will we ever see it? The next post should shed some light to that.
