Alexander Phone Dubbed As Motorola's Last

I don't know what went wrong, but things have been going downhill for Motorola lately. It's gotten so bad that its latest phone model has been dubbed as its last stand. Feel free to use whatever metaphor you prefer: swan song, final gasp, etc. Regardless of how you call it, this is the phone that can make or break the company. For now, it's called the Alexander, and these are the unconfirmed features:

  • It looks like it's going to be an 8 megapixel camera phone. At least that's what is floating around in the R&D labs…
  • The device will have a built-in NVIDIA chip which will handle both video and 3D graphics.
  • It might possibly be a touch screen but that has not been confirmed to us just yet.
  • Again, this is said to be Moto's last big attempt at getting back their market share and reclaiming victory. If this doesn't work out, we're told it's all over for them and they will sell the company.

Release date is said to be on October. We'll keep you updated on this one.
