nitrodesk_pr.png

If you've been using NitroDesk's TouchDown application with your Exchange server, you've probably already heard that a new version is out. One of the new features that it carries is support for push-email. Now, you can keep up with all your messages without having to stay in front of your computer.

Here are the other new features:

In addition to the possibility of receiving real-time email notifications, the new version also enables PIN based security and Remote-Wipe of Exchange data to provide administrators and users with new ways to secure the information downloaded to the device from the exchange server.

The new version of TouchDown supports Exchange Server 2003 SP2 and 2007. There are two components available in the Android Market. The first is "Exchange by TouchDown", which users can try out for five days. You can activate it by downloading the second piece, "TouchDown Pro License", converting to the full version.
