Apple Releases Fifth iPhone SDK

Apple has released the fifth version of the iPhone SDK recently, making changes to the the OS and Cocoa Touch APIs. The UIKit, which handles the touchscreen interface, also received some updates. Other features were also modified, such as AddressBook and AudioToolbox.

The fifth beta version of the iPhone SDK includes Xcode IDE, iPhone simulator with Open GL ES support, Interface Builder, Instruments, frameworks and samples, compilers, and Shark analysis tool.
