BlackBerry 9000 Going Full Frontal?

There was a time when having a camera in your cellphone was a big deal. While it's not a common thing today, having two cameras in one mobile isn't all that special. It might seem excessive, but if you like taking pictures, particularly self-portraits, those dual cams are sure to satisfy your inner narcissist.

Rumor has it that the BlackBerry 9000 is joining the dual cam club. BGR has the scoop:

According to Rodriguez, the new BlackBerry will sport an external microSD slot, similar to the current Pearl 2 models, a bigger battery to handle the 3G radio, and…wait for it…a front-facing video camera for video-chatting.

Nothing's official yet, but if it's true, it might cause a rise in social networking on BlackBerry networks. What's next? RIM's own MySpace?
