Canada Gets Free Q&A Service

Canada's cellphone-equipped population is going to get free a Q&A service from AskMeNow. In true inquiring fashion, Canadians will be able to ask any question and get an answer at no cost. They'll also have "access to the most popular content including Directory Assistance, Weather, Sports, Directions, Movie Theatres & Locations, News, Horoscopes, Stock Quotes, Flight & Hotel Information and the Daily Word, Joke and Quote."

AskMeNow is starting this service in cooperation with Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless, SaskTel, and TELUS Mobility.

"By removing the cost factor, we eliminate the largest barrier to adoption and encourage high volume usage," said Darryl Cohen, AskMeNow CEO. "Canada is the first country in the world where we offer our service completely free to wireless customers nationwide."

To start using the service, Canadians can simply text their question to 27563 (ASKME).
