Data Plans For Canada

If we were to create a timeline of our own that divided periods in terms of hard drive space, then we're entering the terabyte era. This is by no means an original idea, but I'm saying it again for emphasis. I remember the time when ISPs would charge Internet usage based on either time or bandwidth. Fast forward to the present and we're now at the point where mobile carriers are offering data plans for download-capable phones. With that said, here's what Rogers is offering:

Yes, that's $15 USD for 2mb. "2 FREAKIN' MEGABYTES", quoting the source article. Considering that we're supposed to be welcoming the age of the terabyte, why is a megabyte so expensive?
