Facebook & Nokia Talk Integration

266px-Facebook.svg.png

These days, social networking means Facebook. With a user base of 150 million, it holds the largest number among similar sites. You can bet that it's going to maximize that number by introducing new services. In line with that, Facebook is working with Nokia to bring the site to the mobile webspace.

The newspaper, citing "people familiar with the matter," said Palo Alto, California-based Facebook and Nokia were discussing a partnership that would embed parts of the social network into some Nokia phones.

Should the deal push through, expect to see integration between the two companies. For example, you may be able to merge your Facebook contacts with your phone's, making it easier to sync names and addresses. We can only guess what's in store for us if it all works out, but some Nokia phones already have a Facebook link built in. Maybe it's a sign of things to come.
