Google Announces New Image Search

image-search-3.png

Cellphone users know that running a search using a mobile device is easy. Viewing them is a different matter given the small screens of the units. Google wants to make that easier by announcing a new Image Search results page for Android, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Users can now browse up to 20 pictures on a single page, making searches easier to sort and scan. Other new features include larger thumbnails, using the image to visit the source website and viewing the picture in its full size. A number of filters are also now in place, allowing you to customize searches like limiting results to clip art, photos, etc.

The revamped Image Search is available now. Just go to google.com and click on Images. Only users in the U.K., the U.S. and Japan can enjoy the benefits for now. As always, more information is available at the source.
