Google Maps For Mobile 2.2 Released

Google wants to make traveling a lot easier for everybody, so with the release of Google Maps for Mobile 2.2, transit directions have been included for Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile phones. BlackBerry and Java-based mobiles are already supported, so if you're an S60 or Windows Mobile user and you've been feeling left out, you don't need to feel that way anymore.

Simply bring up Directions from the main menu and you'll see a second tab labeled Transit (or Public Transport), where you can request a route using only public transportation. You'll receive a number of alternatives that take you (car-free) to your destination.

More than 50 cities are included, so if you do a lot of traveling, this application is going to come very handy. Make sure you check out the demo video for instructions on how to use it.
