Google Phone Rumors Resurface

What do you get when you mix a handheld manufacturer with the planet's biggest search engine? Well, I don't have an official answer yet, but it wouldn't be difficult to speculate now, would it?

HTC is working on a handset for none other than Google. Are they working on the long-rumored Google Phone? Boy Genius has a few details:

HTC has apparently hooked up over 20 designs for Google to choose from. The winning handset will sport a custom version of Google Maps with built-in GPS, GMail, and Calender support, as well as Google Talk with VoIP (read: Wi-Fi) capability.

This could be the next iPhone, folks. I can't wait to see the product specs.
