Google Reveals Early Details About The Android Market

The Android Developers Blog revealed that it will be establishing the an apps store in the future. It's exactly what it sounds like: a place where users can find content for their Android devices.

That's why today I'm happy to share early details of Android Market—an open content distribution system that will help end users find, purchase, download and install various types of content on their Android-powered devices. The concept is simple: leverage Google's expertise in infrastructure, search and relevance to connect users with content created by developers like you.

You could say that they could be getting ahead of themselves here considering that the Android isn't even out yet, but this still in the planning stages so I suggest you check out the source below for more details. Regardles off how this turns out, it looks like Google's already laying out the infrastructure that it thinks the Android needs so I'm beginning to wonder what else is in store.
