Gucci Goes Mobile & LG's TV Phone

First, it was Prada. Now, Gucci is jumping on the bandwagon and will be launching a cellphone of their own. Featuring a touchscreen interface (gasp!) and not much else yet, little is known of the upcoming mobile unit aside from the rendering you see before you. As always, I'll post details as soon as they come to light.

In other news, LG will be launching its own TV-capable phone in the VX-9400. It will support Verizon's MediaFLO technology to broadcast live TV. Of course, it offers the standard features of a mobile phone. Click here for the full list.

The idea of watching TV on your cellphone comes from the need of mobile carriers to provide other services in the light of cheaper phone rates. If this isn't appealing to you, what kind of service and/or technology would you like on your phone? This whole TV thing looks exciting, but what about subtitles?
