Guitar Hero III Now Available For BlackBerry!

Those of you looking to put some metal in your mobile life will be glad to know that Guitar Hero III is now available for BlackBerry smartphones! Hands-on Mobile, Inc. and Activision is bringing the popular rhythm game to the portable level with Guitar Hero III Mobile. Details from the press release:

As part of an exclusive licensing agreement, the game will be distributed to BlackBerry smartphone users by mobile game distributor Magmic Games, via its online storefront, Bplay.com, a one-stop entertainment solution for the BlackBerry platform. To access the game, users can simply go to bplay.com and select Guitar Hero III Mobile.

The game's scheduled release date is April 2008. Taking a quick look at bplay.com and switching countries to Canada shows that Guitar Hero III is available for download right now. Time to trade in your stylus for a pick.
