Helio Heats Up & Mobile Ankles

Helio launched a slider phone called the Heat. The package includes Google Maps equipped with GPS tracking, among other things. The interesting bit is that Digg and Wikipedia are going to "optimized for mobile usage" so users will be able to provide and look for content while they're on the go.

The Heat features the following: 1.99 inch high-resolution QVGA display with landscape mode, 1.3 MP camera, stereo Bluetooth® support, 136MB available internal memory, MP3, MPEG-4 and VOD support. The phone is 3G capable and will be available for $150.

If you're tired of carrying your cellphone in your pocket or bag, you can try wearing them around your ankle. As long as the size fits (namely RAZRs, candybar and clamshell phones), this accessory will let you carry your phone in style.
