iPhone 2.0 Jailbroken

Thumbnail image for 20jailbroken.png

In software security circles, there exists an event known as a zero day attack, which is an exploit of a previously unknown vulnerability. It is so unknown that even the program's developers are unaware of it.

I'm referring to it because we now have word that iPhone 2.0 has already been jailbroken (read: unlocked). The fact that the iPhone 2.0 has not been released yet shows that, in some ways, this is better than a zero day, a testimony to the creative and morally ambiguous minds behind the iPhone Dev Team. The current limitation is that the jailbreak only works with hacked activation, so it won't work on AT&T iPhones yet. No need to fret though, because they'll get those covered eventually.
