iPhone: News, Rumors & Thoughts

Prior to writing regularly I browsed gaming websites on an almost daily basis. It's something that I still do today, except that I added gadgets and other items of interest to the list of sites that I visit. One of the trends that's noticeable is that when it comes to products, you'll often get bombarded with previews. Hands-on demos, videos, sightings, pictures and rumors all contribute to the potential barrage of content that you'll before the actual product is released. When it hits the market, you'll get the reviews next. After that, well, it's time to move on to the next big thing: a new product.

What makes the iPhone unique is that two weeks after its release, people are still talking about it: Mobility Site has a list of bugs, Engadget has rumors, to name a few. After years of reading about new products (months in the case of gadgetry), it's very unusual to find something with the iPhone's longevity. How long will it last though? Also, Wikipedia has an availability date for the iPhone in Canada: Q4 2007. There are no further details though, so maybe this will help shed some light on it.
