M500 Makes Small Dreams Come True

m500_pic5-440pxl.jpg

The idea of a miniature communications device has been around for decades. Cellphones come close, but they're still pretty big compared to the communicators of Star Trek. Dick Tracy fans and science fiction enthusiasts will be happy to note that technology just took one step closer to that idea.

The M500 is a quad-band wrist-phone that features a 1.5-inch color touchscreen, SMS, MMS, AAC/MP3/MP4 playback, USB and Bluetooth, among others. While it can only carry 128MB of data, it's still pretty impressive. It even has its own built-in stylus to keep your fat hands off the touchscreen.
