Making RSS Feeds Mobile

mdiggerdemo.JPG

RSS feeds are the lifeblood of bloggers and Internet junkies everywhere. Instead of browsing individual websites for information, you can subscribe to their feeds and put them in your RSS reader, allowing you to access their content from a central source. However, most readers require a computer to run, so what do you do when you're in transit? A new service called mDigger provides a straightforward solution: give you access to your feeds using your mobile.

mDigger uses mClips to clip defined selections of information and content from thousands of Internet sources for your personal use and enjoyment. mClips are located within our online catalog and can appear on your mobile device or computer in a matter of seconds. All mClips are dynamically updated, which means you always see the latest information on your device.

The official website offers additional information, including a virtual tour that will provide you with a sample of how the service will look like on your mobile. It is currently compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and Windows Mobile-powered PDAs and smartphones.
