Microsoft Releases Executive Guide For Windows Mobile

A few weeks after the original iPhone was launched, network administrators had concerns regarding its integration with corporate environments. No, it wasn't about compatibility issues with Exchange or any other sort of workplace software. The concerns were about security, with questions raised regarding the safety of office networks when a device as "open" as the iPhone is nearby.

Perhaps it's taking a cue from that experience, or maybe it's just making sure that you've got everything covered, but Microsoft is taking a proactive step to making your mobile network as secure as possible. It released the "Windows Mobile Executive Guide for Technical Decision Makers" to give the-powers-that-be the right information.

Microsoft recognizes the need for converged, manageable, powerful mobile computing in the enterprise and is committed to helping companies like yours meet the challenges of mobile device deployment and use, and enhance your return on investment in mobile technology.

You can read the guide in its entirety here.
