More Details On The Molson-iPhone Contest

Details regarding the Molson-iPhone contest surfaced recently and we have to report.

Molson Canada's contest for its Molson Dry "Twist and Score" promotion stated that the device will be available beginning January 2008 on the Rogers Wireless network and valued it at $800.

Not so, says Molson Canada spokeswoman Marie-Helene Lagace.

"The information published in our rules and regulations for our promotion turned to be mistaken," she said. "There seems to have been a misunderstanding with our agency."

Rogers Wireless representative Odette Coleman said that Rogers is "absolutely not involved in a contest" for an iPhone. Molson contacted Rogers on Wednesday and informed them that the website will be taken down until further notice.

Who's to blame? Apple, for releasing such a must-have device. I'm kidding, of course. Hopefully the next report we receive involving Canada and the iPhone will be the real thing. All this speculation is getting to me.
