N-Gage: Installations Limited To One Device Only

When I read about the N-Gage's resurrection a couple of months ago I was skeptical about its success. Not that it truly died, of course, but it wasn't well-received, so I considered it a rebirth since I thought that Nokia had abandoned it. Possibly learning from its previous mistakes, Nokia decided to expand the N-Gage by offering it as a service, deviating from its roots as a phone model. The expansion involved making N-Gage titles available to various Nokia devices, which sounded good initially. Users have recently found out that there's a catch to it, and it's the sort of surprise that you won't like.

Gamers have hit out at Nokia after learning that N-Gage titles bought for their handsets are locked to that specific device forever.

If a gamer changes or upgrades to a different Nokia handset they have to purchase the games again if they want to continue playing

One installation only? Ouch. It all sounds painfully archaic.
