N-Gage Transfers Are Limited To One

Thumbnail image for Nokia_logo2.jpg

Speaking of games, it seems like Nokia still doesn't want you to go through a copying frenzy by transferring titles you already bought. We've covered this before, but a few days later the Finnish company said that it was going to allow users to transfer games from one handset to another. Now, we're reading that a one-transfer policy is in effect.

...we're finding that there's still a "one transfer policy" in effect, meaning that your games can only be ported from one handset to another one time before your world implodes. It should be noted, though, that a recent report at All About N-Gage asserts that said policy is only temporary, and that Nokia is currently working towards "a more permanent transfer method."

So should you decide to get an N-Gage title, make sure that you put it on the phone that you actually intend to play it with. Otherwise, you only get one shot to place it on the correct unit. What if you decide to upgrade mobiles a few weeks later?
