Nokia Announces The 6260 Slide

Nokia-6260-slide_2_lowres.jpg

Nokia announced the 6260 slide recently, promoting it for those who like to keep connected in more ways than one. Along with the usual features, it also has photo and video sharing, quick access to search engines, among others. Here's a breakdown:

- supports 3G, HSUPA and HSDPA
- a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera
- music player
- web browser
- Nokia Maps and GPS

This S40 mobile is expected to become available early next year at 299 EUR. Overall, it has a ton of features going for it, but I'm not too sold on the S40 platform it's running on. There's currently no word on whether it will hit our side of the fence, but we'll keep an eye out for it.
