O2 Goes Black & White With The Cocoon

070731_2i.jpg

Fosfor gadgets has photos of the O2's latest offering, the Cocoon. As you can see above, there's a display hidden beneath the shell, which gives you a warm, cozy greeting. It can also be used to notify you of incoming calls and messages. Additional features include MP3 playback, an FM radio, Bluetooth and a 2-megapixel digital camera.

Opening up the clamshell design reveals a relatively modest keypad. Combined with the black and white tones of the unit, it's obvious that O2 is going with a back-to-basics approach on this one. It's simple yet elegant, and although it's not bursting with features, the bare essentails are there.
