Picasa Web Albums For Windows Mobile

Those of you who enjoy the relative simplicity of Google photo sharing tool Picasa will be pleased to hear that browsing its web albums on Windows Mobile phones has now been made easier. The developers have also enabled offline browsing so you don't have to maintain an Internet connection.

Working with Windows Mobile also meant that we could add some cool features using the newly announced Google Gears for mobile, which gives web applications the ability to work even when there is no internet connection available. This means that you can view albums of your choice offline. Gears also lets you add a Picasa icon to your Program Files folder so you can have faster access to your favorite photos.

Using your Windows Mobile phone, you can head over to picasaweb.google.com and check out the new features.
