Review: Metal Gear Solid Touch

The Metal Gear series is known as one of the leaders when it comes to stealth-based action gaming. There's an emphasis on sneaking, espionage and tactics as opposed to the usual run-and-gun style most games are known for. When Metal Gear Solid for the iPhone was announced, it was only natural for gamers to start wondering how the developers were going to translate the stealth mechanics to Apple's mobile. In case you're still thinking about it, the answer is here:

When you start a mission for the very first time, there are detailed instructions on how to control Snake: how to aim (drag your finger), fire (tap), shoot long-range (you pinch your fingers together), and switch weapons.

The thing that I liked about the review is how it mentioned that the controls are intuitive, which is nice considering that most cellphone games that I've had the misfortune to play are ruined by it. The graphics are also nice, better than what I expected coming from a mobile game. For the full review, hit the source.
