Reviews: HTC Touch Diamond

BGR has a review of the HTC Touch Diamond. We've been covering the phone for quite a while now, so I'm looking forward to finding out whether it matches the hype or not. Is it serious iPhone competition?

As we said at the beginning of the review, this is one of the most visually attractive Windows Mobile handsets we've used. The physical design is impressive, and the Touch FLO 3D interface is a thing of aesthetic beauty. Unfortunately, the performance issues we encountered would make us hesitant to put this into our regular rotation. We also couldn't stop comparing it to the iPhone and how many things HTC "borrowed".

I'll leave it up to you to find out what were the borrowed things, but it's enough to say that it's a good thing that the HTC Touch Diamond is a thing of beauty. Judging from the review, it struggles to go beyond what's on the surface.
