Samsung Cleo To Hit Canada

Samsung is showing Canada some love with the Cleo, a new fashion phone that reminds me of a compact. Will the odd shape prove to be a hit or are the unit's features enough of a selling point?

...it's got a QWERTY keyboard, color LCD screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, MP3 playback, and expandable memory up to 8GB (we're guessing in microSD format). More importantly, this attractive little devil (it's just over 2.5-inches wide and 3-inches tall) comes in pink, blue, and (our personal favorite) champagne.

I'm tempted to say the features don't really stand out, but I'll be blunt and say that there's nothing special about them at all. Interested consumers will be purchasing this based on looks alone, so if you find square mobiles attractive, watch out for this one. Release date and pricing are not available yet. I'm not expecting this one to come cheap though. After all, it is a fashion phone. It wouldn't be chic if they were easily acquired.
