Sexy BlackBerry 8800 May Be Hitting Stores Soon

RIM has been hard at work improving their form factor and overall aesthetic appeal. The BlackBerry Pearl is without doubt the most refined model RIM has put out to date. The Pearl's status as the crown jewel in the RIM lineup won't last long though, as each passing day brings more evidence of a sleek BlackBerry 8800 that unlike the Pearl will have a full QWERTY keypad, and a rumoured 1.3 MP camera that may even take some video. More goodies included are likely to be a music player, Bluetooth 2.0, speakerphone and voice activated dialing. Aside from knowing exactly when this model will hit the market, we'd really like to know how much girth and thickness the 8800 will possess. One would hope it would be thinner than a Treo and perhaps rival the sticklike Motorola Q in overall skinniness. Stay tuned.
