The iPhone Coming To Wal-Mart

The iPhone. Retail. If you were to combine both words in one sentence, what would you come up with? How about Wal-Mart? It's probably not the combination that you were looking for, but let me get to that: the iPhone is coming to Wal-Mart. That means it's going to arrive everywhere, becoming even more accessible than before.

A Wal-Mart employee in Uniondale, N.Y., told The Associated Press on Monday that the store will start selling Apple's iPhone, confirming media reports over the weekend. The employee, who would not give his name, did not know when the phones would go on sale, and said the store had no merchandise yet.

So while the details are under wraps, the big news is out. As one of the world's largest retailers, Wal-Mart's reach in North America is wide and long. The iPhone is only going to become even more available to people, provided that the stock can keep up. I'm also thinking about the price, like if there's going to be a Wal-Mart special offer during the first day or something. Who knows? With so little information, anything can happen at this point.
