The Mobile Photoshop Experience

When we reported that Photoshop was going to go mobile a couple of months ago, I wondered how it was all going to work. For starters, how was Adobe going to cram all those features into a portable package? Then there's the interface. Is it going to be easy to edit images on those tiny screens? You can have a field day just imagining the questions and scenarios that the software was going to answer.

BGR takes a deeper look into Photoshop Mobile and responds to some of the inquiries you might be thinking. Here's the hands-on experience:

While it is still in beta and available on a few devices (those which support Flash Lite 3), it has a lot of potential for picture sharing and editing. For now, options are limited and the application essentially performs one key function: Loading pictures onto Photoshop.com for viewing online or on your phone. Unfortunately, there aren’t any photo editing options via your mobile phone for the time being.

So it turns out that there's no editing for now. The next question is what makes Photoshop.com different from other sites that offer similar services? Syncing. Any changes you make are immediately viewable. It's pretty neat, actually, but the lack of editing still feels kind of a letdown.
