Unboxing The Samsung U600 & Sharper LCDs

Proving once again that he can live up to his adopted name, the Boy Genius got his smart hands on the Samsung U600, a phone that believes that 10.9 millimeters matter. The good: a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, quad-band EDGE, Bluetooth, A2DP and FM radio, among others. The bad: stiff keys and possibly the Samsung OS. If you can get past those things, head on over to the jump for more pictures.

In other news, Sharp Corp. is making the future of mobile TV even brighter. Engadget reports that the company said that it has developed LCD panels capable of producing sharper images for mobiles. We've heard of it before, but now the idea seems to be really getting some traction. If the rates and the picture quality are reasonable, this might be the revenue source that carriers are looking for.
