Wolfenstein 3D Gets Ported To The iPhone

Mega Man 2 isn't the only classic game that's making an appearance on the iPhone. Wolfenstein 3D, often credited as the title that launched first-person shooters for PCs, is blazing its way to Apple's mobile.

You can see from the video how the controls work out: move with the left, turn with the right. And yeah, you shoot with the right too. The preview does a good job of showcasing the game's graphics and audio, which are both solid. Another thing that I noticed is that the targeting system is pretty forgiving. You don't need to shoot your enemies dead center to score a hit. I played the original a couple of years ago and I can't remember if that was how it played. Anyway, this one's yours $4.99.
